We provide treatment and support to individuals aged 18 and over.

We obtain information about you when you use our website, for example, when you contact us about services using our email address or contact form, if you call us to discuss your requirements or if we meet in person for the same reason or via networking/events. Our work uses the Health Information Governance Guidelines (2017) to framework who can access, use, and store individual health data within our organisation. This provides protection for individuals through both the Privacy Act 1993 and the Health Information Privacy Code (1994), Please be assured that we will not sell or rent your information to third parties - unless you have requested us to do so, or we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime. We will not release your information to third parties for them to use for their own direct marketing purposes.
How can you access and update your information?
The accuracy of your information is important to us. If you change email address, or if any of the other information we hold about you is inaccurate or out of date, please email us at monica.menopause.org.nz so we can update this. You have the right to ask for a copy of the information that Menopause and Wellness holds about you under the Official Information Act (1982).

We would like the opportunity to make things right if you are unhappy with the way we have used your data so please do contact us via monica@menopause.org.nz to raise any concerns in the first instance. This website nor its owners will ever ask for personal or sensitive information through social media platforms and encourage users wishing to discuss sensitive details to contact them through primary communication channels such as by telephone or email.
